AI Policy

Meridian Health uses AI to help transcribe, summarise, and organise doctor visit information. AI outputs should be reviewed and verified.

Last updated: June 8, 2026

How AI is used

  • Transcribe doctor visit recordings
  • Create visit summaries
  • Extract next steps
  • Organise medicine instructions
  • Generate questions to ask next time
  • Help users ask questions about saved visits

What AI does not do

  • Diagnose
  • Prescribe
  • Treat
  • Replace a doctor
  • Decide whether a treatment is right
  • Provide emergency support

AI can make mistakes

AI-generated summaries and answers may contain errors, omissions, or misunderstandings. Users should review important details and verify medicines, dosage, timing, and care decisions with a doctor or pharmacist.

Training and data use

We do not use your doctor visit recordings, transcripts, prescriptions, uploaded medical documents, or personal health notes to train third-party foundation models unless you clearly opt in.

Human review

Access to user data is limited to authorised support, security, or service operations when needed. We will update this page before launch if human review practices change.

User control

Users should be able to delete visits and related AI history.
