Delete a visit
You can delete an individual visit from your Meridian Health account. Deleting a visit should remove its recording, transcript, summary, notes, reminders, and related AI chat history from active systems.
Delete your account
You can request account deletion from inside the app or by emailing privacy@getmeridian.health.
What deletion includes
- Profile data
- Audio recordings
- Transcripts
- Visit summaries
- Uploaded prescriptions
- Uploaded medical documents
- Reminders
- AI chat history
- Family sharing links
Timing
Deleted content should be removed from active systems within 30 days. Backups may retain deleted data for up to 90 days before automatic deletion. These periods should be replaced with the final retention policy before launch.
Data that may be retained
Some billing, legal, fraud prevention, security, or compliance records may be retained where required.
